What all types of compressions are supported?
KrunchIt supports zip and tar.gz. -
How many files can I compress into an archive?
You can krunch up to 10 files into a single archive. -
Are there any file size restrictions?
Each file being compressed/uncompressed can be of a maximum size of 100 MB. -
How long do the files I krunch/unkrunch stay?
Your krunched/unkrunched files stay for 24 hours on the KrunchIt servers. -
What are the benefits of signing up?
As a registered member, you will be able to keep track of your krunched and unkrunched files and easily access them at any time (before they expire). Also, registered members can mail krunched files instantly to two email addresses. -
What is 'mail download link' and 'mail as attachment'?
'mail download link' emails the download link of the krunched file.
'mail as attachment' includes the krunched file as an attachment in the email.

What is 'delete after download' ?
If you wish to purge your krunched file immediately after downloading a copy, you can select this option. If selected, the file will be deleted immediately, without being kept for the normal 24 hours. This feature is useful when krunching sensitive data.
If you are an unregistered user, anybody with your file's url will be able to delete it. By registering on you can delete your files. -
